Lesson Policies

Music, at its core, is a means of communication. It is important that the overall experience of music is a joyful and meaningful one over any other expectation—the overall experience is what will be cherished for a lifetime. Music teaches humility, nobility, social and communication skills, and it is my overall goal to teach these qualities through the language of music.

Tuition:

Tuition corresponds to the lesson length.

30 minute lesson x 4=$120

45 minute lesson x 4=$180

60 minute lesson x 4=$240

Lessons may be rescheduled with one week’s notice. It is always an option to switch lesson times with another student.

Tuition is due on the first lesson of each month. Cash or checks are accepted. If payment is late, there is a $15 late fee.

Student Expectations:

In order to keep the team of parent, student and teacher on the same page, it is expected that the parent, teacher and student have open and effective communication. This creates a supportive environment for the child’s development.

  • Please arrive early so you have time to settle and get ready for the lesson.

  • Enter the front door and remove your shoes.

  • Silence your cell phones and leave phones and any electronic devices in the foyer.

For Adult Students:

It is essential that the student have a commitment to delving into their musical development. The Suzuki books and pedagogy will be used with supplemental materials.
